Miami Township Trustees will hold a special meeting on Monday January 20, 2025 at 10 am. for the purposes of personnel matters (executive session) and for the purpose of presenting a Resolution of Necessity to place a renewal levy on the May 6th ballot. As the Miami Township Zoning Commission considers whether or not to amend our zoning resolution to include a provision for community-scale solar development, the board of trustees hosted Dale Arnold, director of energy, utility and local government policy for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. The presentation was held on November 13, 2024. Mr. Arnold helped us to understand the current complicated regulatory and legal situation for community-scale solar. View here
